Pros
Nothing good about this job, you don't do CFA for Investor Relations. This job has very less to do with finance and it is much more of a sales job. HR might tell you opposite of it, but please do not listen to HR during interview, she doesn't know what she is talking most of the time, she told me that this is an equity related job and most of the people work here are on commission and salary and we pay a lot of commission which is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakh per year. which is sometimes more than your salary. And she also told me that the conversion rate is more than 33% in a month which means you will do 15 meetings in a month and out of those 15 there has to be minimum of 5 conversions which is the least conversion per associate in a month and for every conversion you get 5k as commission and when I joined there and talked to other employees they told me that they get only 1 or 2 conversions in 3-4 months which is one quarter and this is also when they are very lucky and the commission was never ever paid in full to them.
Cons
I started working here few months back and at the time of joining the CEO and HR were very good with me but in just few days they started firing people without notice and without their last month salary and the reason behind is just that the CEO did not liked them. The CEO Anuj Sonpal is the most arrogant person I have ever met in my life. He is the only reason to make the work environment very toxic, he doesn't have any ethics in doing business and running his company. Most of his clients come here for concalls and Anuj charge them a lot of money, as his job is to bring more and more analysts to their concalls but what he does is ask us to join those concalls from our personal numbers with different names and as an individual investor. So if you are his client and see lot of individual investors on your guest list then probably all of them are his own employees and we have to join those calls, other wise he will scream at us and make our life hell. I don't think he ever cares about his clients at all. And the reason he only hires CFA candidates is because he can show off to his clients that he has 25 CFA candidates working for him day and night and charge his clients more, but what he will never tell them is that those candidates were manipulated in taking this job and they all leave in just 3-4 months and some leave even less than 3 months.
