Pros

It's hard to think of any pros...Maybe the drinks and snacks on Friday afternoon meetings which are basically where people make jokes about other coworkers in front of the whole company.

Cons

1) The pay is extremely low 2) Management expects way too much out of their low payed worker bees who sit in a cube farm all day and bug appraisers in hopes of getting some sort of status on the appraisal orders. 3) CEO is very rarely there and when the CEO is there, everyone is sweating bullets that she is going to come in and yell at them. 4) No bonus or incentive to work hard other than to not get yelled at. 5) If you do exactly what they ask, virtually no knowledge is obtained about the appraisal business or really any thing at all. 6) Bug vendors and take notes on statuses all day. 7) Already mentioned but the pay is insulting. 8) High micromanagement by upper management. 9) People call in sick just about every day and the other workers are expected to get all of the workers who are outs work done every day that they are out. 10) Company trip is rigged

Pros

They had a great management team that actually cared about you.

Cons

Dart took over, laid off half the staff. 25% of the staff that remained quit due to Dart's incompetence.

Pros

I have worked for large corporations and small mom and pops so I was happy to find a nice compromise to both. The CEO is very accessible and involved with the company. VMG hires educated workers with good experience and we do not outsource so you will find close knitted relationships. Everyone goes through an initial training process and then we have online training to choose from and ongoing industry training with our monthly meetings. I used to take insurance packages for granted but not anymore, the company contributes towards health insurance, provides FSA and matches our 401k. You can leave your ties and jackets at home and enjoy jeans on Friday then show off your favorite team for college colors day and other themed activities. Each month we have themed lunches with good homemade food to benefit our annual diabetes walk, we also support the 2 day breast cancer walk and the local YWCA for battered women. This is the first company I have ever worked for that sent me and my husband on an all expense paid trip to Mexico through the incentive program. They have given away numerous trips, iPads, gift cards and big screen TVs. Management works to get employees out of the office for fun with family lake days, Braves baseball or even to the parking lot for Cookouts and corn-hole tournaments.

Cons

While we still have all the major holidays off like Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc... I miss bank holidays like Columbus, Veterans and President's Day.
