Pros

The company is still trying to find the direction they want to go, so you can succeed if you’re willing to put up with the growing pains.

Cons

The VP level employees have a very old school way of thinking. They are the 7am-6pm workers who judge others who don’t put in as many hours. The company is not diverse. An intern program pointed this out to leadership and comments were made that were tone deaf. Many conversations overheard about expensive vacations leadership takes and it is discouraging when bonuses have been stripped. Not enough money to give out full bonuses before Christmas, but gloat about the “team building” trips being taken during the year. I’m sure this is all budgeted differently, but it’s tone deaf. Many people that have been in roles for a long time are not “innovative” like the company is striving to be. Not many people are promoted from within unless someone quits. Also, you’re given goals to meet each year and even if you meet all your goals, your bonus is dependent on the business development team so it seems like there is no point.
