Pros
The focus on employee well-being was byond compare. When Covid-19 hit our facility, we were able to take immediate mitigative action to protect our team at all times at the facility. This prevented our 500+ employee facility from becoming a 'hot spot' without loss of productivity. If you know the industry, you know that this was a definitive accomplishment as a meat processing facility on a global level.
Cons
I would likely have remained working here until retirement if our facility had not been sold. The working partnerships were phenomenal here, and I have never had a better direct report team.
