Valuable job skills: sales and marketing, leadership, and time-management. Pays well: commission-based with fast-paced growth, hourly minimum pay.
Cons
Incredibly vague job description is given at first with little application and no resume required. The sales associate is expected to use their own contacts (family and friends) as their customer base. No office phones available, you must use your personal line for all calls made. The only pay comes from the sales, all other work required is done on your own time and it is very time consuming. Must drive to a customers house in order to present the sale, many times it is someone you do not know and you must provide your own form of transportation.
