9/80 work schedule. Simple technology. Large office.

Total disregard for employees. No severance. No heads up for lay offs to provide time for job search. Lay offs for convenience and added profit. I was hired in September. I chose Vektrex from multiple offers despite lower compensation because I sold on job security. For a company with some 10 weeks of lead time for products which manufactures to order only, they should have a solid outlook for 2 to 3 months ahead. And then after just 8 weeks and just before Holidays, I am laid off since business is down. I had to wait until new year to find a new job. Meanwhile got zero severance. This was the longest period of no-income in my career of 32 years. So you should get a feeling for the value in management statements.
