      Has a fantastic work environment.

      Im not sure how viable they are anymore. They were bought by GHX towards the end of 2014 and they have been losing employees left and right since then. When I started the office was full each day, very few empty desks. When I left, the empty desks outnumbered the ones that weren't. Seem to have trouble attracting talent. With it being a small company it has a great work environment and I loved coming to work. Then when GHX, a huge company, took over, the company lost a part of its charm.

      Great coworkers, monthly drink carts, relaxed schedule

      This used to be a wonderful place to work, but has gone significantly downhill since the organization was acquired at the end of 2014/early 2015. The company was acquired by a company based in Colorado (GHX) and GHX truly does not care about the well-being of the legacy Vendormate employees. Upper management is very secretive and has promoted a very uncertain work environment. A place that used to be filled with lively conversations and laughter has been reduced to one of silence and unhappiness. ALSO Advanced degrees or pursuit of education is not rewarded, encouraged, or seen as a positive in regards to career mobility. If you are truly interested in advancing your career and/or your level of education, I would highly recommend finding another company.
