A very collaborative team -- everyone is willing to help out whenever they can. Weekly team meetings and one-on-ones with the managers. And a perfect amount of meetings so you can remain focused on the tasks at hand.

Expect occasional (usually 30-minute) client calls outside of 9-5 to serve client needs

The team I worked with was absolutely wonderful—I loved getting to work alongside them. The job was also light on meetings, which is rare and appreciated in PR. Year-round half-day Fridays are also very nice.

The biggest con was the pay—it's incredibly low, even by PR standards. The benefits aren't good enough to offset the lack of income. Promotion is also incredibly difficult and takes a very long time. It oftentimes felt like the fact I was junior in the industry was being taken advantage of to not properly compensate me.
