Veri-Tax Response
5yThank you for your feedback. We are sorry your experience was not as positive as other team members and what we ultimately aspire to provide. With our “open door policy,” we wish you had shared your helpful feedback with any of our leaders so we can have the chance to better clarify and elaborate. We’ll do our best in responding to your points and would sincerely welcome the opportunity to hear from you if you’re open to a quick conversation.
We aspire to be a very transparent company offering many different avenues for our employees to ask questions including daily touch points, performance reviews, all hands meetings, annual engagement survey to name a few all in support of our open door policy. We communicate our company policies during the New Hire Orientation around our incentive structure and attendance policy, but we also encourage our employees to ask any questions that can help us to better clarify understanding. We do understand that sometimes it is hard for our employees to know who the right person is to contact for various questions, so we do provide a FAQ sheet to all employees that helps clarify who can best answer questions that may arise, and avoid people getting redirected for questions.
Our long-term ambition is to create jobs that are more attractive and engaging than conventional industry roles. With our continued investments in people, process and technology, we have been successful in progressively increasing the high-end of our effective hourly rate which many have been able to achieve in a fairly consistent fashion. Nevertheless, we are continuing to calibrate our incentive system, including attendance, and improve our training and coaching so many more are able to achieve greater incentives dependably.
Thanks again for recognizing that we have a lot of potential as a company as well as a lot of room for improvement. We are indeed far from perfect but we are deeply committed to being relentless in learning from feedback like yours and improving.
