Pros

Always something to do. The job stays interesting with a multitude of task to complete on a day to day basis. The compensation is ok and the 8 to 5 work shift is very nice too. Especially like having every weekend off. The PTO accrued is the most from any job I've seen for first year employment. Also, the Monthly Bonuses are a huge plus.

Cons

The only cons I can see are the path of training could be more directed and structured. Also, the starting pay is on the low, LOW end of the spectrum. Many in this field make almost double to start.

Pros

The 401K plan is decent, but it takes over one year to become eligible. You get 3 weeks PTO to start, which is pretty decent for an entry-level position. Business is run like a "mom and pop", so you can usually reach management's ear, even if they do not listen. The atmosphere is relaxed and employees are generally left to do their work without being micromanaged.

Cons

Terrible morale. Employee turnover like I have never seen before in IT or any related field. People get fired or quit all the time with literally zero prior notice. Pay is approximately 25% lower than pay for the same position in other companies in the area. There is a ridiculous bonus plan in place to trick the entry-level employees, but it is really just smoke and mirrors so they can pay a lower base salary (there is no guarantee of any bonus, and higher-salaried employees have virtually zero chance of a bonus because it is scaled to employee base salary). Zero work is done on maintaining internal systems or providing a comfortable work environment. Management is often unwilling to spend money to purchase the proper tools for the job.
