That's rare, and it matters. The culture pushes for operational excellence without burning people out. Work-life balance isn't just a talking point - leadership actively models it. I also appreciate how forward-thinking the company is. New technologies and strategic initiatives are embraced, not feared. The Centers of Excellence have brought in sharp, capable people who actually help operators grow — not just add overhead. They make us better at what we do. If you want to work somewhere with integrity at the core and smart people around you, VPP is worth a serious look.

Cons

Growth here is not optional - personally or professionally. If you're looking for a place to coast, this isn't it. That said, I've come to see this as a feature, not a bug. Being pushed outside your comfort zone is uncomfortable, but it's also how you get better. VPP invests in people who want to grow, and expects the same in return. Know that going in.
