Pros
People were fairly nice to my face. Working from home. Not much else! Dave was kind but clearly had no idea what was going on or he was complicit in the abuse of his staff.
Cons
Low wage. I was given a signing bonus that was not explained to me at all or put in writing. No terms explained to me - i was then expected to work for FREE as apparently the signing bonus was "FRONT LOADED PAY" This brought immense stress for me, I had to constantly message the CFO to get paid. My pay was almost always a week late. At one point he tried get away with not paying me almost $1000 of what I was owed. I got paid about half of what was agreed upon because of the "front-loaded pay" - I then had to HOUND the CFO, Kurt Pichler, who kept trying to dodge my questions. Very shady behaviour. I looked into it and I am fairly certain this company lied about my start date to the CRA to say I worked there longer than I did so that they would qualify for a grant (for hiring women in tech). They asked me to lie about my start date. This stress brought me into a bad state with my health. I had to take on multiple other jobs to make ends meet. These people do not care about their employees especially women. Having to monitor interns (not in the job description) NOT PAID FAIRLY OR ON TIME!!!!! I was one of two women working for this company - the only queer person - very limited culture and not inclusive to diversity I would give zero stars if it were possible.
