Pros

- Probably easy to go unnoticed and do your 9 to 5 if this is your thing - Several nice people on the Individual Contributor level if you're lucky to land on the right team

Cons

- The company was recently acquired by Alibaba and as we speak the HQ (in China) is placing and replacing people in all levels. This is an important point to take into account before joining. It has an effect on every aspect of the company, especially company culture. (look up 996) - Poor if non-existing 360 performance reviews - no accountability. - - Employees spending weeks if not months with zero contributions, yet nothing happens to them. - Several skilled people have left the company the past ~2 years - Several toxic or poor managers that destroy morale without any way to pass that feedback to them. (poor communication, non-professional verbal micro-aggressions) - Opaque promotions based on personal preference - Paris office has a lot of influence especially on Product Management - Ridiculous KPIs, eg "number of users who clicked on an external link" which we needed to increase (!) - Critical thinking not really encouraged - execution just passes top->bottom - Several poor hires who survived probation lower the level for everyone - Nonsensical budget decisions (saving money on tooling yet organising fancy sales events in HQ)

Pros
