Avoid like the plague - Recruitment Consultant Vision Teaching Employee Review

Pros

Fortunately, the consultants are the only good part about Vision Teaching.

Cons

Micromanaging to another level. An Operations Manager who has no experience above a mediocre consultant, who hires only blonde trainees due to his personal preference of women. Breaks taken away, calls listened into, commission removed. A common theme of sacking employees on the spot, with little to no retention, speaks for itself.

Pros

Good salary compared to the market, nice offices in Liverpool St. but that's about it

Cons

First of all, micro-management is crazy levels of excessive and KPIs & expectations shift on an almost daily basis. The turnover here is just insanely high to the point where someone leaving is a weekly event (and the company isn't that big). Calls are listened into, mid-management casually swearing all the time and using generally vile language. My advice is to avoid.

Pros

It offers a flexible, freelance approach, allowing you to arrange work around your university timetable. The agency provides a variety of placements, giving you diverse teaching experiences in different schools. Vision Teaching is an excellent way to build teaching skills while earning income alongside your studies.

Cons

You don’t receive the full payment for your work, as the agency takes a cut, typically around £5 to £7 per hour. The freelance nature of the work can sometimes result in inconsistent job availability. Agency roles may lack the job security and benefits of direct school employment, such as holiday pay or pensions.
