Horrible organisation to work for. Never been so miserable. Don’t do it. Literally no progression opportunities. It’s a job - end of. A job they don’t even want you to do well it there is a risk you might upset the local authority/NHS etc. Kinda defeats the point of the job? Pay is pretty much minimum wage nowadays despite the statutory nature of the role and needing a car. Anyone who is any good is going to move on to better paid work pretty quickly.
