The very top tier of management has a myopic and outmoded vision that is directly correlated to the failure of the company. As surely as night follows day, those in charge ensured the failure of the company by not looking forward, or even sideways to see what the rest of the industry was doing. While embracing the drain-wards spiral downwards, it appears that the main concern was to preserve their own position until the company could be purchased.
