I’ve been here a long time and have lived through three CEOs and multiple management shakeups. When layoffs happen, they only hit lower-level engineers and technicians. The VPs and directors who make the bad decisions are never held accountable. Interdepartmental rivalry and politics make thoughtful, focused work nearly impossible. Leadership constantly changes direction and can’t commit to a clear path forward. They talk about “growth,” but it’s just a carrot, never a plan. The leadership presents a friendly veneer, but behind the scenes the culture is nasty, backstabbing, and vindictive. The COO may appear nice on the surface, but that is not how he operates internally. To the CEO: your team is a mess. Egos are out of control, accountability is absent, and it’s a nightmare to work in this environment.
