Pros
Currently the best products on the market. Colleagues mostly helpful and try hard to deliver on milestones. First and second line managers often helpful/interested in their people/projects. Was a good place to do some fundamental science. Bi-annual bonuses for those ranked well, options and rsu for top ranked employees. Salary increases based on ranking: 2-5%, yearly.
Cons
Elimination of Research for HDD. Poor execution/direction from senior management. Executive team lacks technical expertise and qualifications. Executive decisions appear to be arbitrary and not aligned with stated goals/vision. Full merger with WD when Chinese allow it. Appear to be divesting in HDD business- not clear where growth will be found.
