Pros
The people and clients were fantastic. Everyone in my team, across departments and other buildings were friendly, professional and always willing to help and support one another. The company has strong brand values as well as a culture of wanting to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues alike. My new workplace doesn't have the same energy or personality, and I miss it.
Cons
Some days/weeks can be long, but it's events and hospitality work so very much expected. There's never a boring minute, and the more you put in the more you get out. Hard work is rewarded with generous holiday allowances, flexible working options and a lot of company benefits, including a nice long stretch off over Christmas. Unheard of in the events and service industry. So overall, can't complain.
