Pros

The only real positive are the sales and marketing teams, they are supportive and professional despite the company’s wider issues.

Cons

The company is disorganised and lacks proper leadership and structure. Roles are often advertised without a clear understanding of what they actually entail, creating confusion from the start. Training and support are almost nonexistent. The biggest problem is HR. Senior HR leadership is dismissive, unwilling to help, and quick to cut employees off rather than address concerns. They operate as if past experience makes them infallible, and any disagreement with their approach is punished. There is zero tolerance for independent thinking, if you question anything or push back on tasks outside your role, you risk being sidelined or excluded. The culture prioritises blind agreement over employee well being. HR does not care about people; as long as you say yes to everything, you’re fine. But the moment you assert professional boundaries or share your perspective, you’re effectively cut off. Overall, it’s a toxic environment with no meaningful support, dismissive HR, and very poor employee care.

Pros

There are genuine opportunities for development and I have seen several internal promotions, secondments, and mentoring. Company provides up to 5 paid training days for each employee to take up courses or training on relevant areas to support development. Genuinely diverse workforce and inclusion and awareness are supported. Regular 1-2-1s with manager are structured in a way that are actually helpful to your wellbeing and support needs, not a box-ticking exercise. Management are approachable and there is continuous work on the business and culture to look at improvements and adapting to employee and customer needs. Planned social events - company-wide twice a year, also events for each team, and informal get-togethers take place which help integration between teams. Office location is good - close to tube / major train station & high street amenities. Hybrid working is available for everyone, plus a "work from anywhere" once a year policy.

Cons

Pressures on resource availability & pace of work.
