Pros

Few pros beyond the possibility to work with recognisable brands. The problem is that internal politics means that few staff can be free to speak their minds with clients and recommend what is in a client's best interests.

Cons

Risible working conditions/expectations and belittling attitude by senior management. Few opportunities to progress to more senior levels and very dim view of parents who have to work and maintain family commitments.

Pros

Wardour has always been a nice place to work, with friendly, collaborative and talented people. The work is very varied, too. As a member of the Content team, you could find yourself working on the script for an animation, writing a 1,500-word online article, editing an annual report, working with a designer on an infographic, asking the questions on a video shoot, advising clients on social media strategy... The range is almost endless, and changing all the time as the world of media evolves. It's a good place to broaden your experience and learn new things.

Cons

As with any agency, the clients can be irritating - providing vague briefs that have to be met in unrealistic timescales, and then failing to feed back in a timely enough fashion. In a relatively small agency, this can make for a stressful working life at times, as projects and deadlines collide.
