A great summer job for students and teaches invaluable skills such as leadership, organization, dedication and responsibility. Room for growth and promotion based on employee performance in various departments. Fun environment driven towards creating a positive work experience. As a lifeguard at Water Country training is provided for the employee and requires a dedicated and positive attitude, but the work ethic that an individual can develop there is invaluable. Definitely the most fun job someone can have in their life is working at a water park.
Cons
The hours are long, but that should be expected. Also, hours may vary depending on the weather. Changes in upper management have been frequent within the last few years, disrupting company culture slightly. Some cases of inconsistent standards among members of upper management.
