Pros

The software that Webconnex creates is truly great and fits into the event space very well. In addition, the majority of colleagues that you work with are personable and authentic.

Cons

Unfortunately, nearly 4 years at this company left me with more cons than pros. If you're curious about working at Webconnex, I'd consider asking leadership or a current employee a few questions. - Is your office in a safe spot of town or do we need to walk in groups to and from the parking area? - After almost 15 years of being a company, how long has there been an HR department? If there is one currently, why the sudden addition? - If the majority of leadership is outside of the greater Sacramento area, why is the office based in Sacramento? Does that lead to leaders being out of touch during the day to day? - In the last 6 months, what is your employee retention rate? - Does your office have the basics such as heat in the winter, a/c in the summer, and wifi that I can use to do my daily job? - Do you hire the best applicants or primarily people that you know? - Are you fully up to date on labor laws? If I have questions about employment pertaining to the law, are there resources for me to ask questions? This is the epitome of a "we are a family" company that people will tell you to run from. I'd highly encourage looking elsewhere for employment.

Pros

This is a fun and energetic place to work, there are a lot of pros to Webconnex, especially for a Sacramento based employee. It is definitely an expectation to go to company events and socialize to be a team player, Webconnex is very concerned about keeping the company culture light and fun.

Cons

Structure varies by team drastically (engineering vs. product vs. sales, etc). There is often a fast and loose attitude that often overlooks very important details. As a whole the company is
