Pros

People you interact with at this job are largely well intended and there is a deep level of care if you are one of the lucky ones to be considered part of the in crowd. The software is so flexible and has alot of capacity for greatness. If your primary work environments have been in christian/church environments you will find this to be an up fron more healthy seeming place. If you gain favor with upper level, c-suite leadership - especially through their churches - you will likely accel in your career.

Cons

If I could advise anything I would say to just avoid this altogether. - leadership is disconnected from anyone other than the single Christian leader (who has been called a cult leader by multiple individuals) and those that that "christian leader" identifies as part of the favorable /acceptable crowd - who also seek mentorship from this leader. - Religion plays far too great a role in the way they do business. From being willing to accept far right extremist organizations and removing LGBTQ organizations for terms violations simply due to to the nature of being supportive of LGBTQ environments and practices - There is no such thing as experienced leadership. Leadership in the company is formed from friends of friends and "management" is actually just high performing ICs who have no desire, experience, or aptitude to lead or mentor teams or individuals. - The environment is not friendly to POC or LGBTQ. On multiple occasions senior leadership and c-suite has verbally or in writing conveyed their opinions on these topics in company settings, on company trips, publicly, in company slack channels - mocking pronouns, calling LGBTQ "sin" and "confused" in public employee settings - not private conversations. - There is no HR and not in a positive way but in a way that reporting illegal or unethical behavior is discouraged at best and leads to being expelled from the company at worst. - Vulnerability is seen as a must have trait for emplyees with criticism for those who are not vulnerable "enough" leading to manipulative leadership creating power differentials that require vulnerability in ways that put people in places of disadvantage and vulnerable to manipulation and control in many ways - mentally, emotionally, , financially. Anytime vulnerability is required from those in positions of power from those in positions not in power there is an unsafe environment created whether or not it is recognized - Accountability for upper level leadership does not exist outside of that of financial stakeholders. - The memes that exist for sales leadership that is calloused and out of touch with the product and support teams leaves engineering, and customer support in constant stress of trying to support toxic leadership in the sales department are epitomized here. - Nearly everyone here has been hired as a friend of a friend and it is evidenced by the divergence of thought and hostility towards differing opinions. - In multiple situations violations of parental leave and related protected benefits and classes have been made by leadership with the excuse of having vulnerable conversations. - Leadership is out of touch, does not listen to their leaders and is the cause of burnout of their top performers - Differences in religion are very unlikely to be respected as historically leaders and high performing IC's have knowingly and intentionally violated the boundaries and values of IC's who's religious beliefs did not match that of the majority. - There is a very strong right winged, conservative, christian aspect to the leadership culture and not in a way that is personal and private but is admonished and encouraged in subtle ways such as promotions to be a part of the personal values of employees. - work life balance is not something encouraged. Instead employees are encouraged to see coworkers as "family" in ways that supersede normal daily boundaries of work - Company trips are extravagant tax savings for the company that are explained as reasons for paying lower wages than is industry standard.

Pros

This is a fun and energetic place to work, there are a lot of pros to Webconnex, especially for a Sacramento based employee. It is definitely an expectation to go to company events and socialize to be a team player, Webconnex is very concerned about keeping the company culture light and fun.

Cons

Structure varies by team drastically (engineering vs. product vs. sales, etc). There is often a fast and loose attitude that often overlooks very important details. As a whole the company is
