Pros

A great company once, after Weber Blackstone merger, unknown what will happen. 6 months in and unknown what next products. No direction. Unlimited vacation is awesome.

Cons

Unrealistic projection timelines. 90% products made overseas. Second RIF in progress then mandatory layoffs. Health insurance really expensive. Manufacturing being shut down in US and going oversees.

Pros

Excellent products and extremely loyal customers all over the globe. It’s a true heritage brand with quality and customer service to back it up. Talented coworkers. Right now Weber offers some wonderful perks that show they really value their employees. Up to 14 weeks of parental leave (including 6 weeks for dads) all paid at 100%. Discretionary PTO that allows us to take time as needed. A hybrid schedule of Tuesday-Thursday in the office, and Monday and Friday remote. With the office in Palatine, IL, the hybrid schedule makes a commute from all over Chicagoland much more doable for most employees. A free grill when you start working here.

Cons

Morale since the merger with Blackstone has been so-so, and there has been a lack of communication about organizational structure and company priorities. Many people have left with no backfill, stretching our already lean teams.
