Pros

Diverse people, a very good opportunity to develop, and acquire new skills. Gary is an excellent boss, and listens to the employees.

Cons

Employees are scattered in offices around the world and not all in a common office.

Pros

-As an intern, I was able to write proposals for potential licensing deals, conduct and present feasibility reports for social impact initiatives, and liaise with partners at top technology and consulting firms. -WSL has a great social mission to improve education through advanced technology. One of their main goals is to narrow socioeconomic gaps through improving access to and quality of education. -Gary Pickholz is truly a terrific boss to work for. He really cares about your personal and professional growth. He does a great job of acclimating you to an environment that includes consequential and intense work.

Cons

-After learning curve, get thrown into serious work with significant results (ex. proposals for education technology initiatives for a whole country). However, the learning curve in the first couple of weeks certainly prepares you for the serious work.

Pros

- Opportunities for leadership early on: In an 8 week internship, I was able to lead due diligence meetings with company CEO's, prepare value propositions, and engage with Oxford faculty at ESG seminars. - Introduction to ESG and positive business: This sector is expanding rapidly, with tons of opportunity for business to curate solutions to social and environmental problems using technology and virtual capability. I engaged with the strategic operations of 2 social benefit corporations which has made me eager to pursue full-time opportunities within the ESG realm. - Mentorship: Working under the leadership of Mr. Gary Pickholz was a privilege. I learned invaluable lessons in business development, private equity, and corporate responsibility. - Opportunity for higher education and university academic credit

Cons

- Lack of opportunity for full-time positions - WSL is still in early stages and I hope to see this company expand tremendously in the future.
