They are running a big Scam. They will hire you by saying that you are being hired full time but actually they are hiring a contractor. Once you have completed the project they needed you for, they will fire you for no reason. Barely anyone completes a year here. Other than the core group of 4-5 people no one has been able to stay for more than a year. The COO is running a one man show and is unable to stabilize the ship because of his childish and egoistic behavior. Benefits suck and stocks are over valued (you aren't going to complete a year so stocks option is useless anyways). Product is very buggy and they are not able to improve it because higher management has no direction. Dissatisfied customers are leaving because of this.

Wickr does NOT hire full time staff beyond it's core group, everyone outside of the inner clic is subject to "phoney full time" position that will last between 6-18months. It doesn't matter how you perform, or what department your in. Founders/Senior staff dont trust new hires and are very happy to let staff go. "We are going to fire X Y Z staff members after launch is successful" - cofounder (said that over lunch). You can expect to work long hours, watch your PMs get rotated faster than you can learn their names. HR at Wickr basically does not exist, they do but they don't actively participate. After leaving I had ONE request, please send me my W2 for 2016 I NEVER got it despite polite emails reminding HR. 2017 Never got my W2 either. You can really expect HR @Wickr to drop the ball. Avoid if you need a visa cause they will fire you with 2 weeks pay, they may even ask you to sign some pretty restrictive documents upon leaving. Either sign or forfit the 2 weeks severance. Positive reviews are lies, the company wont change until Founder/COO/Senior staff change which won't happen. Enjoy the table tennis.
