Pros
Great Team: Everyone is enthusiastic about their work, and helps each other to improve. We also have optional team outings from time to time. Interesting Area of Work: The work they are doing is interesting and impactful. Theoretical topics in university that I didn't imagine would actually be used, is touched upon here from time to time. Autonomy & Flexibility: We are given a lot of freedom on managing our work, and solving problems that we find. Management also takes into account our preferences on what we want to work on. Open & International Culture: Management is very open about our progress and direction as a company. As an employee, I feel very involved and an actual part of the company. Additionally, everyone is very open, fun and friendly regardless of background. Work Life Balance: I never felt as if I don't have time for my personal life. Taking our time off is never seen as a bad thing here. Management even pushes us to take our leaves from time to time.
Cons
International Team: As our team are spread over many countries, it can be quite challenging to communicate and manage projects. The company culture is quite good though in minimizing the drawbacks of this. Early-Mid Stage Company: As a growing company, a lot of things are not as established as larger companies yet. Therefore we need to depend on our own initiatives to suggest and execute improvements.
