Pros
Pretty Office
Part-timers work their butts off
Cons
I had NO idea how badly I was underpaid until I moved on and talked to other stations. They have high turnover rate, and after a couple months you'd figure out why. If they don't see immediate results, they fire you. Then they hire the next person, don't see results in a couple months, and fire them too, and so it goes. There is a lot of the "blame game" but not a lot of team work to fix problems. Every employee there is constantly on edge about being fired, it's too stressful and you can't enjoy how wonderful the industry is. The company doesn't give employees the basic tools they need to succeed when out at remotes and the listeners notice. Oh, and HR? don't bother. I've worked at many radio groups. this was the worst. They operate on intimidation, fear, and threats.
