      Pros

      Interesting work, lots of hands-on experience and opportunities to contribute to different projects.

      Cons

      The owner and upper management refuse to modernize, meaning absolutely no remote work or hybrid opportunities. Management knows this is an issue and has lost many many people because of it, but refuses to budge. Despite being behind on projects, management accepts more contracts, expecting workers to work overtime.

      Pros

      Manufacturing does a lot in house, so there has been a lot of opportunities for me to learn new things and have variety day to day. This is the cleanest shop I have been in. A few years ago there was troubles with finding tools but that's been mostly resolved. Most people are willing to help and share information. Pay and benefits is good. This is one of the highest paying machine shops around me. Annual bonuses. Shift premium goes up the longer you work it.

      Cons

      Sometimes the operator instructions or job sheets are missing details. You can ask for edits, but then your stopping work.

      Most jobs there seem pretty repetitive also a lot of responsibilities
