Pros

My experience was just the opposite.

Cons

In a toxic workplace like Wing Assistant, one can expect every form of unprofessional behavior. They claim to be a client-first company, but they don't care about the employees. This happened to me while working with a wing assistant. I was a Social Media Specialist working with a client. The client asked for strategies, and I provided 7 within a short time, which the client appreciated. Later, the client requested a rough draft of social media creatives and post descriptions to visualize the ideas. I spent 2 hours creating these drafts, not focusing on grammar mistakes as it was just a rough version. Unfortunately, the client found two grammar mistakes and asked me to leave the project despite successfully meeting the client's one-hour deadline for the design and post-copy. If they had asked me to redo the task, I would have done it even by working overtime. Being non-native speakers, it's surprising that grammar mistakes could lead to such consequences. It's a different story that the clients were unaware. What astonished me was the negative response from my colleagues and even my superior. I'm someone who rigorously checks messages, runs grammar tests, and then completes tasks. However, due to time constraints, I couldn't concentrate on grammar for this task. My work was overlooked by my captain, and my supervisor. They behaved unprofessionally, micromanaging break times and even forcing me to share my email credentials so that they could check the emails I sent without authorization. If firing me was the legit thing to do, they had to fire them both. Revealing my email password goes against company security policies, but I had no choice. Thankfully, my time at this toxic organization was only a week. I'm relieved to have escaped this unpleasant workplace. I hope for change, where the wing assistant listens to employees instead of blindly adhering to client demands. Employees have families and responsibilities too. Observing everyone's EOD at the end of my shift, it's clear that not everyone works as expected. Despite putting in effort, I was let go from the company unexpectedly. This wasn't what I anticipated, but I'm taking it as a positive step. I hope this review reaches many people. My goal is to raise awareness, not to criticize the company.
