Interned for rep baldehs office and it was a great learning experience. I got credit for it as well.

Slow at times and mundane.

This is a great job for people interested in the legislature and state politics. Students in particular may enjoy the ability to work on homework during the down time! While it is a political environment, pages serve all ninety-nine representatives and their staff so the Sergeant's office is nonpartisan.

The work pace is often very slow. On days when the legislators are actually in Madison for committee meetings or session, things are very busy and you can expect to alway be on your feet. Unless there is a special project to work on, you can expect to be assigned perhaps eight to ten tasks a day and that's it. My advice is to bring your own project to work on or a good book.
