Pros
I joined Wize when it first started in 2017 and have loved it ever since. The team has been amazing to work with. Importantly, the teaching experience (course-building) has improved an incredible amount since I started, making it far easier to create high-quality courses at pace. They also upped the amount of support and training provided to Wize Profs as the head office team grew, which has really helped me work efficiently and juggle my other teaching obligations. The team couldn’t be more supportive and friendly, and the fact that I can work remotely whenever it suits me is a major benefit. It has also been an incredible feeling to see the impact my Wize courses have made on university students lives. I was skeptical at first, especially not having taught online before, but I now truly believe Wize and online learning is the future of education.
Cons
Short deadlines could be overwhelming at times, especially when I first started. Learning curve can be challenging starting out but now I feel like an expert at teaching online
