If you need positive reinforcement this is not the place for you. Of all the places I’ve worked, large and small, this company gives the least amount of encouragement and recognition. You are just a number and if you leave you will be easily replaced (or that’s what some management acts like). Only one woman in a management position in the entire company. Senior management is secretive about many things, and even though it’s “empoyee owned” we don’t have any say in the direction the company goes. That’s solely at the discretion of the CEO, who also is not elected or hired by the employee owners.
