      Wolverine is a big family if you choose to be a part of it. Coworkers and managers alike care about your wellbeing, they just can't always do what we want them to because of corporate rules.

      Cons

      The pay is not competitive to other mining locations.

      Pros

      Good wage to be able to live where I want to live. Good mine manager, Jake Wilson. Celebrate and reward safety milestones and production. Good contracts to sell coal for years to come.

      Cons

      Day shift starts at 6 am and its a 45-55 minute drive from town. Harsh winter driving conditions. Difficult mining conditions. Faults, water. CEO doesn't interact with hourly employees. No transparency on corporate spending or earnings or decisions.
