Pros

Very few, but the pay is on par or above average for a small start-up. Genuinely, there are some really good people at this company who are doing their best to wake up and grind it out every day, contrary to the cons they need to deal with on a daily basis. They also have some really good logos in their portfolio.

Cons

On a daily basis, I feel like I’m Jack, and Rose is hogging the piece of wood floating in the ocean. Barely treading water because the leadership team (the iceberg), is inevitably sinking their employees (the Titanic). Every day is filled with stress and whiplash. There’s a false sense of hope and security at this company. Everything is spun so that the “cult” sees things through rose-colored glasses, instead of “owning it” and admitting that not everything is as peachy as it seems. People are leaving on a weekly if not daily basis. It’s a shame that the management team continues to act like the musical ensemble towards the end of the movie, just smiling away and continuing to play their music, as people are jumping from the upper deck and going down with the ship. The culture is as toxic as the water was cold that day.

Micro-management and false sense of safety, when really they only care about numbers.
