Compensation. You are paid fairly when you work as a solo provider. However, you were also assuming 100% of the risk.

Everything. Scheduling is a nightmare. There is no rhyme or reason as to where you’ll be scheduled, how many days in a row, and no attention is paid to the previous month when scheduling for the upcoming month. I once did a nine day stretch of shifts, some of them 24 hour shifts, between months. If you complain, or even raise a concern, you are immediately flagged as the bad guy and later you pay for it, big time. They use a hook and bait tactic to attract employees with a lucrative salary offering and the presumption you’ll be working at one facility. Don’t be lured. You will regret it. They will have you working at every hospital they have contracts.
