Pros

- the immediate GTM team is a mixed bag but most folks are friendly, hard-working, and smart. - that's about it

Cons

- all of it but particularly the GTM org, leadership, and business model i joined workos expecting high-velocity growth, but once inside, it became clear that most of our ARR comes from the same handful of large AI customers, many of whom were brought in through internal connections. outside of usage-based add-ons driven by those accounts, there’s almost no meaningful expansion, and the ceo’s resistance to longer-term contracts makes the sales motion even less sustainable. from the outside, the company looks strong with big marketing pushes and recognizable logos. internally, the gtm org is struggling. sales is being led by someone with a customer support background and no real sales experience, and the only other ae is sharp but too early in her career to recognize the gaps. i’m actively exploring new opportunities because the current model and culture don’t feel viable without major change.

Pros

Incredible project management and communication. Every team member is so welcoming and kind. I've been here 6 months and am very much enjoying it!

Cons

So far I don't have any cons - especially since working with them for my maternity leave and their introduction of NYC commuter benefits

Pros

- We're winning the AI market (dozens and dozens of high profile AI companies), and is fun to sell to developers who have a real need for the product to scale rapidly - Land and expand usage model allows us to win quickly, with some companies blowing through their 12 mo contracted credits in 3 mo (good for us) - Plenty of opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact - Overall, it’s a place where you can do meaningful work, learn quickly, and be part of something that's taking off

Cons

- That said, like any fast-growing company, there’s still iteration happening around segmentation, pricing, and sales process - Eng is shipping so quickly there's always more to sell, but at different stages of readiness - Things can change quickly, which is great if you’re adaptable and a builder, but frustrating if you want to run an established old school playbook
