Pros

1 hr wellness time during the workday to exercise and extremely relaxed dress code were the only two pros available.

Cons

There is no option or support for professional development. They are disorganized and have no regard for making work better. Favoritism runs rampant. They make full time employees clock in and out and work exactly their core hours or they have to make it up with vacation/PTO time. Management openly disdains anyone not considered management. No plan for growth and content with eternal mediocrity. Absolutely no room for advancement unless you're a smoker who can hobnob with management during their smoke breaks.

Pros

-The office culture is steadily progressing across all departments. Senior management works hard to instill a person-first workplace. The culture on my team in particular was supportive, creative and energized. -Pay is pretty good for a nonprofit and there are opportunities to move up in most departments eventually or to a different department -From the CEO and COO to HR Director and QM, everyone was supportive and accessible no matter what level you were on. -The mission of my department meant a lot to me. I learned a lot in my role and was also given freedom to innovate. -The people working here are good people.

Cons

-The union can be a bit mysterious at times. It doesn't interfere with your day to day, but it was kind of a confusing presence on the back of my mind at times, perhaps due to communication/messaging issues. -You do clock in and out—some people are skeptical at first about that. It's really not a big deal once you get used to it and they are flexible as long as you communicate.
