Pros
Making the decision to join Workhub was the best decision I have made in my career. After nearly 15 years of running my own company and winning numerous awards I decided to venture out and get some experience working for some other tech companies. Workhub accepted me with open arms and I joined on as Team Lead of Product Design. One major pro was that I was allowed to add expertise and contribute in various other departments where I was knowledgeable outside of design. I have witnessed several teammates take on new roles and offered training to allow them to work in areas that interest them. Workhub is always looking for new champions in various departments and will provide you the tools you need to grow. The team culture is great. Lots of friendly and inclusive people. Management is exceptional and I would consider the owner (Brian) as a mentor with his vast knowledge and background in various areas. Management is always very transparent about revenue, expenses and growth which is great to see. So many perks, from lunches included to in-house rec activities, great benefits, flexible hours. We have a dream board used as a wish list we can request company purchases if we hit growth milestones. We asked for an arcade - we got it! Furthering education is always a priority. We have a book club to help promote educational readings and have no problem sending team mates to educational conferences, courses, etc to further education or learn new roles. Business is growing at a nice healthy pace and very excited for the future.
Cons
None that I can think. All office environments come with a certain level of imperfections but we have many tools for people to voice concerns, suggestions, surveys etc so I feel that any issues are quickly and smoothly addressed.
