Pros

Big company with some great people in the field, and some amazing support staff. Some of the best senior sales people in the business. Senior management is trying to make the right changes.

Cons

Region Managers are mostly all from the former companies. The problem is management wants to form a national company, but left all the legacy regional Sales Manager network in the field. Senior Management wants to make the right changes while the local managers want to either retire soon, or remain like the old company they came from. And it does not work for costs or growth. The result is a network like the former Wholesalers who work for themselves, promote themselves, and protect themselves from outsiders as much as possible. If the Sales and support staff want to call out the problem they end up looking for a job, and those in the network promote those who protect them. The "new" people (new blood is what the company needs,) find themselves with limited power to change, or if they speak up about problems, they are looking for another job.

There are talented individuals across different teams who genuinely want to improve processes and drive results. The company also has established relationships with large enterprise clients, which creates potential for growth if leveraged correctly.

Cons

One of the biggest challenges is the lack of a clear, modern vision for marketing and how technology should be used to drive growth, improve customer experience, and reduce churn. Marketing is often treated as a support function rather than a strategic driver of revenue, and there is limited investment in the tools, data infrastructure, and experimentation needed to build scalable demand generation and lifecycle programs. Decision-making can feel reactive rather than strategic, and there is often a disconnect between leadership priorities and the realities of modern digital marketing. As a result, opportunities to leverage data, automation, and customer insights to create measurable growth are frequently missed. Another concern is that advancement and recognition sometimes appear to be influenced more by internal relationships than by performance or talent. This can make it challenging for high-performing employees to feel fully valued or to see a clear path for growth within the organization.
