Pros

Free parking. Nice break room. Complimentary coffee. Health benefits are okay, premiums are low, but co-pays are expen$ive. Compensation for certifications. Work life balance, but only approved by CEO. It seems to depend on who you are.

Cons

This company has lots of potential, but the guy who created and runs this company doesn't know how to MANAGE people. He plays favorites. If you're not in his inner circle, you're highly disposable. If you work on client site, you don't exist unless the customer complains/compliments. CEO looks the other way regarding the attrition rate, about 1/3 of the ppl I met when I first started, no longer work there. There is no upward movement/opportunities. You'll be stuck with the same job & title indef. Even his secretary quit on him, but email sent by the CEO suggesting otherwise. Watch your back if you work there, b/c CEO ethics and handling of ppl are at the least, highly questionable.

Pros

I recommend Xgility for any individual looking for a company who will assist and encourage professional development and provide support for employees working offsite. Xgility offers training incentives and compensation for staff seeking to beef up their certifications, in addition to an optional weekly Saturday study group. Tools such as Yammer are provided by management as a collaborative tool for offsite employees to receive assistance with technical research and questions from coworkers at headquarters. Finally, because of their commercial business, Xgility is the only company I know of that during the 2013 two-week government shutdown had work – and pay – for all employees assigned to government contracts.

Cons

Xgility holds a weekly Friday company call, which can be challenging to fit into your onsite client schedule. However, the call is useful as topics often center around boosting productivity (think time management tips), and how to match up your skill sets and work product to the company’s core values.
