Pros
Really exciting time to be at a company like XOR. Our product was built by someone who really understood the industry and not only does it work, we are a lean enough team that we can really take what our customers say and make changes and upgrades quickly. You won't find another AI company that responds to your emails at all hours of the day and bends over backwards to ensure success metrics are achieved. All of my co-workers are passionate about the company and though we are all working remotely at this time, there is still a very strong team feeling that connects all of us. As a typical startup nearing a medium sized business (with our customer list growing), we wear many hats but it also gives us the opportunity to be involved and have a say in the direction of the company, which is a rare thing.
Cons
Some typical growing pains that are starting to rear their head (to be expected when you are leaving the "start-up" stage). For the most part, however, leadership shields employees from any disagreements at the higher levels as they are being worked through and everyone feels really empowered and excited about the direction of the company. XOR has a global workforce that can cause some barriers as teams are on different time zones.
