Pros

Great atmosphere and work culture with an invaluable mission. The team is rapidly growing! Lots of room for growth and offers a lot of opportunities to learn new skills and succeed. Their onboarding process is also by far the best experience for career-seekers! Lots of follow-up and thoroughness goes into the interview process.

Cons

Nothing to note thus far.

Pros

They have a really relaxed office environment, casual dress-code, and nice perks like free drinks and a flexible work schedule. Outside of management, everyone has been great.

Cons

Unfortunately, while some of the other reviews are more negative in tone, their overall message is accurate. The Senior Leadership team is full of what I like to call "buddy hires." They've stacked the ranks with managers who are either married to or just friends with the CEO, and aren't actually trained or willing to train in the fields they "manage." They also work extremely hard to "contain" any sort of negative feedback that starts to circulate. An example would be the most recent negative review that showed up on Glassdoor. They immediately pulled myself and others in to an office with the HR representatives to find out "who did it." While I don't have firsthand experience with this, I know the technical teams have a very difficult time with their project management and the process that they have to go through. Seems like they're always upset about having multiple useless meetings throughout the day.

The leadership team and the Employee Experience team at Xceleration took the feedback from a recent post seriously. We weren't concerned about who wrote it from a punitive standpoint or to "contain" anything, we genuinely wanted to know if people were having a bad experience and what, if anything, we could do to address it. So yes, we spoke to employees and other leaders about that feedback. We also continued to conduct 30-60- and 90-day reviews with new employees that were scheduled around that time, asked questions, and sought to gather information from informal and formal exit conversations with the employees who resigned. Respectful is one of our core values, yet that should be bi-directional. We hope that your manager and other leaders have been respectful to you in your career with us, yet we also hope that you would show them the same respect by addressing your concerns face to face with your manager or someone on the Employee Experience team.
