Pros

The technology is new and exciting Co-workers are very nice like a family One of the two product lines has no competition Flexible working hours Most mid-level managers are very good

Cons

Salary is 20% ~50% lower than industry average (unless you know the right person). The management prefers to hire experienced rather than develop talents. No, little if any, career advancement/professional development Current new management is bringing in its crew. Politics is definitely apparent. Communication from group to group and from the management to the employees is abysmal and inaccurate Job description is inaccurate (borderline misleading). Some positions workload is unreasonable (i.e. system engineers, field, manufacturing). Expect to work overtime Very hectic environment with very little support. It employs sink or swim on the job training method Company is in transition phase from small to mid size (if it is not sold off before that happens). Do not value the contribution of employees.

Pros

Good technology, growing sales and very, very smart people work there.

Cons

Salaries slightly below average, some upper management weakness in terms of keeping employees really focused on their jobs, and a surprising amount of bureaucracy for a company that had between 50-100 employees (grew from 50 to over 100 in last 3 years).

Pros

-not a stressful environment -many of the employees are very knowledgeable and fun to work with

Cons

-high turnover -low salaries -management only seems to be concerned with saving costs, not with technology and innovation -for most positions there is very limited opportunity and support for career advancement
