    Pros

Very widely known company that commands a lot of respect from peers within the industry. Was a blast to work there, especially with close knit groups of developers.

    Cons

Work could get a little dry sometimes. There were instances where I'd be working on a project for many months on end and would go seemingly nowhere.

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you're doing. Perhaps check in on your subordinates for project reviews and updates at a more frequent interval. Doing so really allows a greater spread of ideas.

I worked at Yahoo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some very nice people working at Yahoo - below the VP or Senior Director level

    Cons

Completely inconsistent about everything from the way people are treated and compensated to performance reviews to products being given budget or shuttered. There is literally no logic at all. At the VP and above level there appears to be a strategy based on rolling dice.

    Advice to Management

All of you quit and make room for people with any training at all.
