Pros

Salary was great, but you work hard for it! Autonomy was given, but your consistently working to meet deadlines.

Cons

Not paid for travel time until you surpass 45min of your home location. Employer over promises on projects at the cost of the employees. All senior level employees take the easiest jobs whenever possible. Not paid for time to travel back to headquarters for meetings. Everyone is so busy/burnt out with their projects that no mentorship is provided. On-boarding - what on-boarding? Worst place I’ve ever worked. Be care with this place. People gain their experience and leave at the next opportunity. High stress workplace. I recommend you going to headquarters to interview if granted so that you can get a sense of the weird vibe this place gives. Trust your gut instinct.

Pros

Yorke makes a point of allowing people to do what they love; over my years here, I've given feedback on the responsibilites that I enjoy, that I don't, and what projects I'd like to be involved it - and they've listened. My role has shifted more towards doing when I love. They place a high priority on company culture and work life balannce. They invest a lot in both fostering a community in the workplace and in individual professional development. I understand that community in the workplace isn't for everyone, but personally, I want to work in a place where I know and enjoy time with my coworkers. They have optional clubs, activities, happy hours, and sports to be involved in. 5 times/year they require staff to travel into the headquarters for meetings, but those are the only mandatory events. The daily hours/schedules are flexible, and they respect PTO/time outside of work hours. They pay very well.

Cons

Holidays and PTO are pretty limited. Other reviews complain about nepotism...yes, it is a family owned company, started 30 years ago by the current owner, but I have never see nepotism shown in a unfair/concerning way.

Pros

Good work experience, pay, and collogues

Cons

Filling out a timesheet can be tricky, fast paced, can sometimes be lacking in guidance, stingy with overhead, in need of more senior project management, infrequent holidays.
