Pros
Good orientation week Opportunities for CPE Other employees are very friendly and helpful
Cons
this company is not prepared for part-time employees. YPTC pushed for a weekly time commitment from the get go, then the offer letter states they will not guarantee any hours whatsoever. Sure enough, I was given a full time hourly schedule with no benefits, when I spoke up, I was dropped to about 10 hrs a month. Better enjoy pep rallies and cheer leading. A good amount of "staff training" involved yptc self-promotion and how lucky you are to work for them, and what you can do to bring in new clients, employees for them. Remote actually means you have a set location you must work from. During the interview stage, I was told about the employees who worked full time and travelled full time while they worked. But once on board I was told we were expected to have a home office we worked from, and was told I could not work (even to check client emails) while traveling.
