The work is good but at the expense of extensive traveling - Field Service Engineer ZOLLER Employee Review

Pros

Being in a different environment beats the daily grind of an office every day. You get trained in Germany, but more or less thrown in the deep end after that. vacation time is good, as well as having a company car, credit card, and per diem for traveling expenses. I also get to keep my frequent flyer miles.

Cons

The traveling is too much. If it were local or regional traveling via car would make it easier, but flying every week gets old and if there is an emergency at home, well you are stuck where ever youre at. I could make the same average salary having a normal "9-5" job, and havent seen a pay raise in my 2.5 years of employment.
