Good company overall, too many "Yes Men" - Automation bp Employee Review

Pros

They pay good, decent benefits (school reimbursement, 401k match, pension, medical, etc). Many opportunities (they are the 4th largest company in the world, assets all over, all types of jobs). Solid job market (constantly hiring most positions, many contract opportunities).

Cons

"Yes Men" seem to get management positions about 3/4 of the time, with or without proper qualifications; so all the issues that come with that... Too many processes and procedures that become the focus vs. the actual work. Too much of a "we're all equal" attitude, so the guy doing nothing gets the same recognition as the guy doing all the work (or more sometimes..). They seem to get stuck on pedigree vs. qualifications, so many unqualified people in upper positions.

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
